Love is sitting across from you at a very long conference table made of the finest quality of oak. The table has minimal things on it, simplified and down to the bare essentials. The shades are drawn closed. Lights are on. It is just You and Love. A private personal meeting. You are weary from your travels of pursuit and hunt regarding Love. Sitting still, exhaustion sets in. You need to catch your breath. Finally, the Universe heard your prayers, begging, affirmations, and tantrums - Love has appeared but not in the form you expected. Curiosity gets the better of you you are ready to tango with the unexpected manifestation of Love.

Both you and Love are in the same room and the same time. The door is closed, a ‘do not disturb sign is on the knob. Phone calls are on hold. Now, nothing can interrupt the Super-Power CEO Meeting. In one swift move you bring out your clipboard and pen. The list of questions you have for Love is a about a mile long. Not to mention the sub-text and side notes you have written along the way.

Who, What, Where, How and Why? You want to know. Love gazes steadily in your direction, and is not the least bit disturbed by your probing questions. In fact, Love has a hi-tech laptop - all fancy gadgets included. Even the sound is on. Love looks at the notebook screen, its set up to show you videos of your life’s patterns regarding giving and receiving love, sacrifices, wounds, traumas, triumphs and woes as well as addictive tendencies and power struggles (issues). There are even charts and numbers, mapping your relationships and course in life until this stage. A nod of approval - all elements are in place, Love is ready to give the tour.

Love’s stare is intense and melts even the toughest titanium walls you have set up. Love has keys to unlock the most intricate of locks placed on the doorways in your heart and mind. Love has ways to reach deep within you that astounds your super skeptical inner critic. Love is not intrusive, it is ever so gentle like a feather being brushed across the skin. Light, soft, kind, genuine, empowering and non-harmful. The Wisdom of Love knows when to push and when to allow you to grow. Love knows when to put the healing balm on the pain. Love knows when to pry open the grieving heart. Love lets bliss in. As the hour approaches, the meeting is underway,

You feel the energy stirring - warming the heart area and it spreads into your entire being. The body shifts as if a foreign object is put into the body. How can love be foreign? You resist. You dig your heels in. You hold on tight to the past and the known. A part of wants to run, hide and deny. Yet, you can’t look away.

Like a moth to a flame, you are drawn to the mystery, the unknown, the adventure. Love entices you to venture into the new domain and take a walk on the wild side. You are longing for answers and a part of you doesn’t want to hear the answers. A sound coming from hi-tech notebook snaps you out of the hypnotic trance. You make a choice in that moment. You realize this is going to take a while. You better to clear the schedule for the next several hours, heck maybe days and order food in.

You realize you may have to take responsibility for some of your choices, reactions and actions. Undigested emotions gurgle, thoughts spin, beliefs play tug of war within you. In a split second, you say “The hell with it, I need to understand and I feel exhausted from repeating the same old ways.” Love smiles the Ancient Alchemical process has begun, Truth will reveal itself. Each of you carries the vibration of Love, that essence is embedded within the cellular structure, within the DNA. It can not be separated from you. It is You. Keeping love at an arm’s length is a choice. Running from love is a choice. Attaching yourself to the belief or idea that love equals pain will perpetuate suffering. The illusion is, that love is elusive. It is not. Love is a reality, it is a state of consciousness. Love is beyond the personal sphere. Love is Universal. It is large, it encompasses all. Love is all inclusive. Love is right there within the heart. Feel it. Trace the patterns within your life. Squares, rectangles, triangles, circles within circles. Examine closely the repetitive issues as if you are the Investigator of your life regarding Love. The answers are there. The solutions are there. Often times people say, Love is a risk. Indeed it is a healthy risk just like anything else in life. Making a new receipe or planting a tulip bulb is a risk. Will it taste good? Will it bloom? Will a loving relationship manifest? Opening ones self up to another is an adventure. Nothing is in concrete. Everything in the Universe evolves and moves. Love is constant.

Loving yourself is the first step. Often times individual seeks love in another outside of self to fulfill the need. It gets filled, all is right with the world. Until one day it is gone or changes. The individual feels totally empty - like being lost in a void. Their heart and world breaks into a thousand pieces and the suffering unfolds. Then they begin to seek again something from the outside to fill the void. The cycle continues. The individual never really is deeply satisfied or filled with joy.

The key piece is missing. Self-Love. Love for thyself is paramount. The more you love within the more love you have to share. It grows beyond personal borders into universal space. Self-love is not about being perfect, far from that it means you have chosen to be loving and enjoy You from moment to moment. You have chosen to learn to be tender and accepting of you - both your wonderful qualities and the imperfections as you see them.

Embrace Love. Bring it so close to you. Do not be aloof to it. Realize that Love has been the Core of you - a part of your original nature - Soul/ Consciousness. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Express Love. It is who you are.
